Digital asset management with the ChronoWallet

The ChronoWallet is now the foremost multi-wallet on the market, and offers the best solution out there for managing tokens. As we extend its functionality still further, we’re keen to hear from the community and gain feedback about the blockchains and features that have the highest demand.

As part of our commitment to building a comprehensive blockchain toolkit and ecosystem for the recruitment industry, we have been working hard on our multi-coin cryptocurrency management system. Although we call this the ChronoWallet, its features are diverse and go far beyond simply holding and sending currencies.

Digital Asset Management

Ethereum is an extremely powerful platform that enables all kinds of token operations. However, these are typically not accessible to ordinary users, since they require complex smart contracts to execute. Consequently, token operations have typically remained inaccessible to the majority of the crypto community, let alone the wider public.

The ChronoWallet is designed to address that problem by providing a clean, simple user interface for interacting with the blockchain, with no knowledge of smart contracts required.

Right now, the ChronoWallet allows users to manage ERC20 and ERC223 tokens. (ERC20 tokens are the most popular Ethereum standard, while ERC223 is a more recent standard that is designed to address key concerns around ERC20.)

ChronoWallet supports:

  • Sending/receiving tokens
  • Secure storage
  • Issuing new tokens (ERC20 or ERC223)
  • Re-issuing tokens
  • Redeeming tokens (automatically swapping one token for another)
  • Managing your blacklist. This functionality enables you or admins you designate to block a particular address or group of addresses from transacting using a token you have issued. This allows token issuers to maintain compliance with the SEC’s requirements.

New blockchains

As a result, the ChronoWallet is already the most powerful and versatile multi-asset management platform in existence.

The upcoming version of the ChronoWallet will extend this functionality to NEM and Waves Platform tokens as well, meaning that digital assets hosted on these platforms can also be accessed just as easily. This will make the ChronoWallet a hugely valuable resource for portfolio management, allowing anyone to hold, transfer and even create digital tokens on multiple blockchains.

However, we’re not stopping there. There are several other popular blockchains and digital platforms that also offer token creation facilities. These include Dash, EOS, Ripple, Stellar, NEO and others. We plan to add support for these next, and are keen to prioritise the ones that will prove most valuable to the community.

So, if you have any opinions about the next platform we should integrate into the ChronoWallet— or if you’re a blockchain business or entrepreneur who wants to see particular functionality provided — then get in touch and let us know your thoughts.
